like heavy machines

Duck family
Five little ducklings
Mom distracted, a fox strikes
Four little ducklings

Basho’s frog misses
Green frog by old pond
Bravely jumps for the water
Wet splat onto rock

Beer in summer
Brown long neck bottle
Drink too many and wake up
Horribly sun-burnt

By the pool
Light blue swimming pool
wavy surface reflects sun
softly dancing lights
